Senior Director Supply Chain Planning Technology

The client is seeking a Senior Director of Supply Chain Planning Technology to lead the transformation of enterprise supply chain planning capabilities. This high-impact role focuses on modernizing the systems, data, and processes that support demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, capacity planning, and factory execution. The position sits at the intersection of IT, supply chain planning, and manufacturing operations, owning the technology vision and roadmap for advanced planning platforms while partnering with business, operations, manufacturing, and executive stakeholders. Key responsibilities include defining and executing a multi-year technology roadmap, and owning the architecture, implementation, integration, operations, and continuous enhancement of planning platforms. The role will lead transformation initiatives across demand forecasting and demand sensing, enterprise supply planning, capacity planning, factory start planning, order scheduling, inventory optimization, and SandOP/IBP process enablement. It also includes modernizing planning platforms, integrating ERP, MES, and planning systems, establishing strong master data governance and planning data integrity, and enabling advanced analytics, AI/ML, and automation opportunities to improve planning decisions and customer availability without overbuilding. The ideal candidate will have at least 8+ years of experience delivering advanced supply chain planning solutions in a manufacturing environment and experience leading large-scale planning systems transformations and post-go-live optimization. A strong background in planning systems and platforms is expected, along with deep understanding of demand forecasting, supply planning, capacity planning, factory planning, order scheduling, inventory optimization, and SandOP/IBP. The role requires the ability to collaborate across IT, supply chain, operations, manufacturing, and finance, and to work with vendors and senior executives, driving change management, team development, and capability building for future planning technology skillsets.
