Mobile MRI Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Part-time schedule consisting of 2 x 12-hour shifts per week, scheduled between Monday to Friday, from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM.

Job Description

The Mobile MRI Technologist will work at the Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute as part of a new MRI unit. The ideal candidate will assist in setting up and getting the unit operational prior to its official opening. The position involves working as a lone technologist and requires strong communication skills with physicians.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures on brain, spine, MRA, body (abdomen, pelvis, chest), and musculoskeletal regions.
• Operate Siemens MRI equipment and ensure the highest quality imaging.
• Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient care and imaging results.
• Start IVs as required for imaging procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Certification: ARRT or ARMRIT, with a current West Virginia MRI license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
