Associate Territory Manager – Northern California Location: Northern California (Field-Based) Industry: Medical Device / Surgical Employment Type: Full-Time Travel: Up to 80% (including regular overnights) Position Overview Ready to break into medical device sales? We are seeking an ambitious, high-energy Associate Territory Manager to provide clinical, procedural, and sales support across Northern California. This is a premier developmental sales role designed to build your surgical expertise, account management skills, and clinical acumen. Working alongside experienced field sales leadership, you will cover surgical cases in the operating room, conduct product evaluations, and train clinicians on a leading surgical device portfolio. Career Path: High performers in this role are fast-tracked for promotion to a full Territory Manager role Key Responsibilities Procedural & OR Support: Provide hands-on procedural case coverage, product demonstrations, and in-service clinical training for surgeons, nurses, and hospital staff. Sales & Account Execution: Partner with regional sales leaders to manage territory activity, execute sales strategies, and drive adoption of our surgical technologies. Relationship Management: Build sustainable, trusted relationships with key clinical decision-makers, Value Analysis Committees, and hospital administrators. Territory Strategy & Insights: Analyze territory performance, track competitive market activity, manage sales pipelines, and support local marketing initiatives/trade shows. Compliance & Professionalism: Maintain strict adherence to patient safety guidelines, corporate compliance policies, and operating room protocols. Qualifications Experience: Minimum 2 years of successful sales experience (B2B or healthcare). OR Readiness: Comfortable working in an operating room environment, observing surgical procedures, and standing for extended periods. Travel & Schedule Flexibility: Ability to travel up to 80% (regular overnights) and adapt to early-morning cases or unpredictable surgical schedules. Core Competencies: Strong persuasion and communication skills, high self-motivation, strong organization, and commercial acumen. Future Mobility: Must be willing to relocate anywhere in the U.S. for future Territory Manager promotion opportunities.
