Registered Nurse - PACU

$1836.00/week -

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a seasonal travel PACU position at a busy surgical unit. The RN will provide postoperative care for patients recovering from anesthesia in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess and monitor patient recovery status following anesthesia.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and treatments adhering to hospital protocols.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with surgical teams to coordinate patient care and ensure safety.
  
  
• 
  Document patient progress and interventions accurately in the EMR system.
  
  
• 
  Respond promptly to patient needs and emergent situations.
  
  
• 
  Follow all unit policies and guidelines to maintain compliance and high standards of care.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Current RN license with valid state licensure.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care.
  
  
• 
  Proficient in PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Experience with GE monitors and Meditech EMR preferred.
  
  
• 
  Strong ability to adapt to a flexible, fast-paced environment.
  
  
• 
  Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
