Product Specialist

THRESHOLD, a Division of Avery Products is seeking a Product Specialist to support the Threshold Product team and functions as a point of contact between Sales and Production to maintain and support our four product lines. Professional Development Opportunities What you will be doing: Maintenance and support of all new and existing products, including costing, price management and inventory cost updates. Helps implement product price increases with the web and marketing team. Assists with sourcing and packaging development Works with Sales and Production for costing, quoting and onboarding of custom products for direct and reseller customers Management of existing and new products in the Sales order system, Solomon and Order Entry Wizard Develops expertise on product features, specifications, materials, and applications. Has in-depth understanding of how the product is manufactured. Supports any informational requests from Sales and Marketing Manage medium complexity projects when appropriate and as directed by Product Manager/Senior Product Manager Competitive research and customer interaction What you need to succeed: Prior experience in printing industry and /or preparing custom quotes preferred Excellent mathematical and analytical skills. Highly focused attention to detail Strong communication, customer service, organizational and problem-solving skills Very strong Excel capabilities. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent Two years related experience preferred Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
