Senior Product Counsel

Advising on AI-powered products and complex legal issues, the full-time Senior Product Counsel will partner with cross-functional teams to assess risks, shape product development, and ensure compliance while working remotely. Key responsibilities Advising product, engineering, and business teams on legal and regulatory requirements throughout the development cycle Conducting legal product reviews and maintaining compliance inventories across features and regulatory obligations Identifying risks and recommending mitigation strategies for new products and initiatives while ensuring alignment with business objectives Required qualifications 8+ years of legal experience with admission to a state bar or equivalent practical experience In-house product counsel experience from a technology company, particularly in SaaS, AI/ML, or communication platforms Knowledge of privacy and data protection, artificial intelligence, security, and consumer protection legal frameworks Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to rapidly changing priorities Experience negotiating vendor, partnership, and AI/ML data agreements with stakeholders across global time zones
