Office Manager – Quarry Operations
Seneca, IL
$22/hour | OT after 40 hours
Monday–Friday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (flexible start time)
Occasional Saturdays as needed
A local sand and gravel company in Seneca is looking for a dependable, organized individual to run the office at their quarry location. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a mix of customer interaction, office coordination, and keeping operations running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
Answer phones and assist customers
Weigh trucks in and out using the scale system
Process billing and maintain accurate records in Excel
Data entry and daily office coordination
Provide general administrative support for quarry operations
What They’re Looking For
Strong customer service and communication skills
Comfortable using Excel and/or QuickBooks
Organized and able to manage multiple tasks independently
Reliable and comfortable working in a casual, industrial environment
Additional Details
Casual work environment (blue jeans and sweatshirt type of setting)
Sales tax and union benefits are currently handled by an accounting firm
If the right person has accounting experience, there may be an opportunity to take on more of those responsibilities in the future
Company recently installed a new scale system, with potential for additional software integration with QuickBooks or Excel
