A contract position is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist seeking to support K-12 students’ growth and independence. Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR) license from the Texas Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners (ECPTOTE)
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Proficient communication and documentation skills
• Ability to independently manage a diverse caseload
• Commitment to collaborative practice with teachers, support staff, and families

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students, with a caseload of approximately 45–60 based on service minutes
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with each student’s needs and IEP goals
• Participate in ARD/IEP meetings, providing input on goal setting and progress
• Collaborate closely with educational staff and parents to promote student success
• Maintain thorough records and reports consistent with district and state requirements
• Utilize evidence-based interventions to support student engagement and participation in school routines
• Contribute to an inclusive learning environment for students across K–12

Position Details:

• Full-time contract, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Onsite assignment
• Assignment start as soon as possible and extends through early June 2027
