Construction Superintendent

Description Construction Superintendent (New Construction) - full-time position located at Zachary Pointe Apartments, Wilmington, North Carolina. What You’ll Do Require a minimum of five years’ previous experience with a multi-family builder, including scheduling, ordering materials, field supervision, budget management, quality control and production of all phases of construction. Have solid organizational skills. Be comfortable interacting with owners, architects, engineers, government officials and inspectors. Have previous experience with Microsoft Office software. Have previous experience with project management software (Procore) desired. Display strong listening, written and oral communication skills. Have the ability to read, analyze and interpret reports. Make complex decisions requiring significant judgment. Decisions may affect any or all internal departments. What We’re Looking For Direct all field contractors to achieve project completion on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to plans and specifications. Maintain positive internal and external relationships with Development, Accounting, customers, contractors, and suppliers. Maintain construction schedule, identify and resolve project-related problems. Order materials and schedule inspections as necessary throughout the project. Prepare, schedule and oversee completion of a final punch list. Encourage safe work practices and resolve any site hazards that may occur. Enforce adherence to OSHA standards for sub-contractors and work-site associates. Maintain an organized job site, including the office and field work. Perform other related duties as assigned.
