Pharmacy Sales & Marketing Representative
Location: Bronx, NY

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated Pharmacy Sales & Marketing Representative to expand our pharmacy business throughout the Bronx.
This position is ideal for an experienced healthcare sales professional who understands pharmacy operations, medication management, insurance billing, and how to develop relationships with medical providers.
We are looking for a proven salesperson who can generate new business, build lasting provider relationships, and increase prescription volume.
Qualifications
● Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience calling on private physicians’ offices
● College degree required
● Previous pharmacy, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sales experience
● Strong knowledge of medications, medication management, pharmacy services, and insurance billing
● Understanding of prior authorizations, prescription processing, and reimbursement
● Experience detailing physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners
● Established relationships with Bronx healthcare providers strongly preferred
● Experience collaborating with pharmaceutical sales representatives
● Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
● Ability to work independently, manage a territory, and achieve sales goals
● Availability for occasional evenings and weekends for physician dinners, meetings, and networking events
Key Responsibilities
● Develop new business relationships with physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and medical practices
● Visit private medical offices throughout the Bronx
● Promote pharmacy services, medication access programs, and prescription fulfillment solutions
● Educate providers and office staff about medication management, insurance coverage, and prior authorization assistance
● Work closely with pharmaceutical representatives to develop new opportunities
● Maintain and grow existing provider accounts
● Consistently generate new prescription referrals and meet performance targets
● Provide regular updates on sales activities, provider relationships, and business development

Previous relationships with Bronx physicians and pharmaceutical representatives are a significant advantage.
This is a field-based sales position requiring initiative, accountability, and consistent follow-through.
