Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a dynamic environment supporting students from Pre-K through 12th grade as a key collaborator within multiple school settings. This contract opportunity offers a full-time schedule of 33.75 hours per week, allowing you to focus on delivering impactful psychological services where they are needed most.
You’ll be at the forefront of student support, working closely with educational teams to conduct comprehensive evaluations, participate in IEP meetings, and coordinate intervention plans. While direct counseling experience is a plus, it’s not a requirement—your expertise in assessments, interventions, and collaboration will drive student success. Flexibility to work across up to four different school buildings will enrich your professional experience and broaden your network within the educational community.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification
- Experience in conducting psychoeducational evaluations
- Familiarity with IEP development and participation in IEP meetings
- Capacity to coordinate intervention plans for diverse student needs
- Willingness to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across grade levels
- Ability to adapt to various school environments and work with a range of student age groups
- Counseling skills are beneficial, but not mandatory
- Comfort in working with Pre-K students is helpful but not essential
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret assessments for students referred for evaluation
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as a valued team member
- Develop, implement, and monitor intervention strategies in partnership with educators and families
- Support a positive learning environment through data-driven recommendations and insights
Imagine impacting multiple school communities while developing your expertise in a supportive, collegial setting. If you’re ready to provide essential psychological services and thrive in a role that values collaboration, apply today to take the next step in your school psychology career!
