System Administrator

Starburst Administrator
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform and oversee Starburst Enterprise installations and upgrades.
- Configure various server and application settings and parameters.
- Design the container solution for performance and scalability.
- Set up and configure data catalogs in various modes.
- Review and manager server related vulnerabilities.
- Coordinate with various support partners and vendor teams.
- Troubleshoot and investigate server related issues.
- Perform daily server administration and monitoring.
- Plan and execute disaster recovery testing.
Primary Skills:
- Starburst platform administration.
- Design/Implementation/deployment experience of advanced Containerized solutions (Openshift/Kubernetes).
- Splunk integration.
- Design/Implementation/Deployment experience of CI/CD pipelines via Ansible, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory.
- Understanding of the systems architecture, application architecture, high availability, scalable installations, and layered security.
- Access control mechanism.
- Object Storage.
- Hadoop, Oracle, Teradata.
Good to have:
- Access Control mechanism.
- Object Storage.
- Python.
- Venafi Certificate/Networking/Routes.
