Role Description This is a full-time, Outside Sales Representative role based in Urbandale, IA. The Outside Sales Representative will visit prospective and existing customers, present product options, and guide clients through the selection of quartz and granite surfaces for their projects. Day-to-day work includes conducting sales presentations, following up on leads, building and maintaining relationships with contractors, designers, and homeowners, and managing a personal sales pipeline. The role involves providing responsive customer service, addressing product and installation questions, and negotiating pricing within company guidelines. The Outside Sales Representative will collaborate with internal teams to ensure orders are accurate, timelines are met, and the overall customer experience aligns with company standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Sales Presentations and New Business Development skills, including the ability to identify opportunities, conduct product demonstrations, and close deals.
• Candidates should possess effective Relationship Building and Customer Service skills to maintain long-term client partnerships and handle inquiries in a professional, solutions-oriented manner.
• Candidates should possess clear and confident Communication skills, both verbal and written, to explain product features, pricing, and installation details to diverse audiences.
• Relevant experience in outside sales, construction materials, home improvement, or related industries is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently in the field, manage territories and schedules, and meet or exceed sales targets.
• Basic proficiency with CRM systems and standard office software for tracking leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel locally for client visits.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
