Lawn Care Technician / Specialist

Location: Huntersville, NC and surrounding areas

Position Type: Full-Time

Start Date: Immediate / Flexible (Join before the end of the year or start fresh on January 1st)

What We Offer

• Competitive Base Pay: $21.00 per hour
• Production Incentive: 1.5% commission on completed revenue
• Sales Commission: 7.25% commission on any field sales/add-ons
• Paid Time Off: 10 Paid Holidays + 5 Paid Vacation Days (after 1 year of service)

Key Responsibilities

• Apply granular and liquid fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides according to industry standards and safety regulations.
• Identify local turfgrass types (warm-season and cool-season grasses) and diagnose common turf diseases, weeds, and insect pests.
• Communicate effectively with property owners to explain treatments, answer agronomic questions, and recommend supplemental services.
• Safely operate commercial lawn care and application equipment.
• Complete daily service routes efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Proven experience in commercial or residential lawn care application/turf management.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of regional turf types, weed ID, soil health, and pest/chemical control products.
• Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (Pesticide Applicator License/Certification is a strong plus).
• Work Ethic: Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently outdoors in various weather conditions.
