FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers in Green Brook is a locally owned clinic seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Physical Therapist to join our team of professionals. We don't believe in impersonal care and PTs trying to see 4 patients at a time like some other clinics. Our 40-minute one-on-one appointments allow our therapists to give their full attention to just 12 patients a day, delivering a better experience for both the patient and the team. Primary responsibilities include: perform new-patient evaluations/exams, diagnose patients; evaluate physical activity limitations, create a plan that sets a goal and completion date, equip patients with PT intervention techniques/exercises, track progress, provide education to patients on techniques for the continuation of care, examine and evaluate new patients, establish a diagnosis of condition or conditions and their impact on activity, establish a plan goal and time frame, prescribe intervention techniques and exercises, measure and track intervention effectiveness, educate the patient on continuing care, and other duties as assigned. Successful candidates must have: accredited PT program graduate, active NJ state PT license in good standing, 3+ year(s) of experience preferred but not required – new grads welcome! Ability to create and implement outpatient treatment plans, ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment, must be passionate about helping patients who have vestibular, balance, neurological, and fall risk issues, must be able to carry out and progress a skilled treatment plan in an outpatient setting, must be self-motivated with a willingness to learn.
