Materials & Inventory Specialist

Job Details Job Location: Catawba Mill - Catawba, SC 29704 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School Diploma or Equivalent Travel Percentage: Less than 10% Job Category: Admin - Clerical ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Help Develop and Train employees to use MAXIMO. Collaborate with Purchasing, Finance, Requisitioners, Stores Clerks, and Accounts Payable to solve problems and improve PM/MM workflow. Coordinate with Operations & Purchasing to order Chemical shipments. Prepare freight RTVs for shipment to vendors. Complete daily, weekly, & monthly inventories and reconcile as necessary. Support daily Operations in the Storeroom. Receive all chemical shipments (truck and rail) into MAXIMO. Receive shipping supplies and PM clothing into MAXIMO. Issue commodities to appropriate GLs as directed by the Comptroller at month end. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None. QualificationsSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum education High School Diploma Experience in inventory management and order management. Proficient use of MAXIMO to troubleshoot problems. Demonstrated ability to prioritize requests made by various departments, including expediting materials and emergency shipments. Good leadership ability, including strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, includes ability to train and mentor direct reports. Proficient use of Microsoft Excel. Possesses an entrepreneurial and innovative spirit.
