A company is looking for an AVP, Assistant General Counsel. Key Responsibilities Provide legal advice and support on practice operations and transactions Develop and maintain client relationships to identify legal risks and collaboratively develop solutions Draft and negotiate contracts, manage outside counsel, and advise on corporate governance documents Required Qualifications J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school Licensed to practice law and a member in good standing of a state bar 6+ years of corporate/transactional/operations experience, preferably in health care services Strong understanding of legal and business factors related to health care services Strategic thinking skills with awareness of legal risks in a business context
