Security Officer

United Security Services, Inc., a national security company, is seeking professional security officers for an upscale hotel in Renton, Washington. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in security standard operating procedures and safety protocols under the role's responsibility and will be results-driven and focused. We are currently hiring for Flex Officers, as well as weekend (Friday-Sunday) part time roles - this may vary based on operational need. Security Guard Requirements 2 years of certified security experience. Must have an unarmed security license with the State of Washington (DOL). Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills and strong organizational skills. Flexible availability Friday – Sunday for PT position, or overall flexible availability for Flex Officer role. Able to stand for at least 8 hours. Capable of lifting and carrying reasonable weight. Preferred to have experience in hospitality (hotels) or relevant customer service. Security Guard Responsibilities Patrol all areas of the buildings (door checks/stairwells) and exterior (parking garages/building perimeters). Check in guests. Respond to incidents on-site, including moving along/trespassing transients. Respond to emergencies and alarms. Other job responsibilities as needed. $23.75 per hour. Target start date: Immediately.
