Description

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations in both inpatient and outpatient settings, crafting personalized treatment plans
• Implement effective physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, doctors, case managers, and rehabilitation professionals for optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on therapy goals, discharge plans, and home exercise protocols
• Document evaluations, treatment methods, and patient progress adhering to facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions to streamline care delivery

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Current CPR certification is highly desirable
• Additional certifications in areas like neurology or geriatrics are welcomed but not mandatory
