Certified Surgical Technologist - Main Operating Room - Evenings Join our high-profile team, and build on our reputation for excellence as you provide crucial support to physicians throughout a wide range of ambulatory surgical procedures. You will function as a scrub person, circulation assistant, and member of the surgical team. You will assist in the care, preparation, and maintenance of supplies and equipment in the Operating Room. This is a full time position working Monday-Friday 2:30pm-10:30pm at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Occasional weekends, nights, and holidays are required. Preferred Criteria Prior experience as an OR/Surgical Tech in an acute care setting Experience in cardiac OR cases Required Criteria Certified Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting Certification (NBSTSA) or if a new graduate, must supply exam date prior to start of employment. Certification must be obtained within six months of hire and complete a probationary period of six (6) months from date of hire Completion of a certified Surgical Technologist, Operating Room Technician or comparable training program or experience as on O.R. Technician/Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting High school diploma or GED NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses. NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is an equal opportunity employer.
