Associate Attorney

The Opportunity Exceed Legal is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants substantive, client-facing work across a diverse and interesting caseload, mentorship from experienced practitioners, and a genuine role in a firm built around personalized attention and strategic advocacy. What You'll Do Your work will be focused on both litigation and transactions spanning the firm's core practice areas, depending on experience and interest, including: Drafting wills, trusts (revocable and irrevocable), and powers of attorney Guiding clients through the probate process Representing clients in estate and trust litigation and disputes Business Law Advising on business formation (LLCs, corporations, partnerships, nonprofits) Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating business and software licensing contracts Resolving business disputes through negotiation, mediation, or litigation Handling commercial real estate purchase and sale transactions Drafting and negotiating commercial leases and landlord-tenant matters Advising on zoning, land use, and entitlements Addressing construction disputes and defects, easements, and boundary disputes Advising on real estate financing matters What We're Looking For J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in Idaho (or eligibility for prompt admission/reciprocity) 1–5+ years of relevant experience in estate planning, business law, real estate law, or transactional/litigation practice (associates at varying experience levels are encouraged to apply) Strong legal research, writing, and drafting skills Sound judgment and the ability to manage client relationships with professionalism and care Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset Comfort managing a varied caseload and shifting efficiently between transactional and litigation matters A genuine interest in serving Boise-area businesses, families, and property owners Why Exceed Legal Meaningful, varied work across estate, business, and real estate law rather than a narrow specialty Mentorship from respected attorneys who are recognized leaders in their fields and active in the legal community A culture of personalized attention and clear communication — both with clients and within the team A firm on the rise , with a strong track record and room for professional growth #J-18808-Ljbffr
