Interventional Radiology Technologist – Travel Contract
Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist
Shift: Days | 5×8-hour shifts | 40 hours/week
Schedule: Rotating weekly day shifts:
- 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to support procedures in an Interventional Radiology setting. The technologist must have recent IR experience and be comfortable scrubbing procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience
- Scrub experience required
- ARRT required
- BLS required
- ACLS required
Schedule & Call
- 5×8-hour shifts
- 40 hours/week
- Rotating day shifts
- Call: 1 week every 3–4 weeks
- Weekend coverage required during call week
- Holiday coverage required during call week
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with Interventional Radiology procedures
- Scrub and support procedures as required
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields
- Assist physicians and clinical staff during procedures
- Ensure equipment and supplies are prepared and available
- Follow radiation safety and infection-control protocols
- Provide safe, efficient support throughout procedures
Must-have summary: 1+ year IR experience + scrub experience + ARRT + BLS + ACLS.
