As part of the Karmanos Cancer Network, we utilize Varian linear accelerators, Eclipse treatment planning with advanced features like RapidPlan, HapidArc, and Aria to record and verify on a common unified platform.This position is open to all experience levels. Whether you're finishing clinicals and beginning your career or looking to advance through our ladder program as an experienced Radiation Therapist, we welcome you to apply!Essential Functions And ResponsibilitiesAdministers radiation treatments as prescribed by the radiation oncologist.Maintains EMR and other documentation related to treatment simulation and delivery.Performs simulation procedures, as ordered by the radiation oncologist, for the purpose of treatment planning.Schedules simulation and treatment appointments; facilitates communication of scheduling with patient and staff.Actively involved in quality assurance and continuous quality improvement programs for radiation therapists.Performs other related duties as required and directed.Qualifications RequiredAssociate degree in radiation therapy.Board certified in radiation therapy from American Registry of Radiologic TechnologistsBLS certification as healthcare provider or obtains within 6 months of employment as a radiation therapist.Two years prior experience working as a radiation therapist.Qualifications PreferredBachelor's degree in radiation therapy.Active member of the American Society of Radiation Therapists (ASRT)
