Stop Loss Administrator

Position Overview The Stop Loss Administrator will be responsible for supporting the Policy Administration and Underwriting teams by handling Pre‑Sale and Post‑Sale functions. This includes but is not limited to managing daily Requests for Proposals, corresponding with brokers, ensuring timely and accurate issuance of contracts, and maintaining detailed policy documentation and records. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with internal teams and external partners. Key Responsibilities Requests for Proposals: Manage the RFP intake process by organizing submissions, coordinating follow‑ups and missing information, maintaining accurate logs, and supporting Underwriters with inquiries. Collaborate with the team and outsourcing partner to prioritize RFPs, ensure data accuracy, and identify/report any errors. Policy Documentation Management: Track and manage outreach for issuance requirements, and prepare, issue, and maintain policy documents, endorsements, and certificates of insurance. Documentation Accuracy: Ensure all policy documentation complies with company guidelines and regulatory requirements. Data Entry and Maintenance: Accurately input and maintain policy information in underwriting systems and databases. Communication: Liaise with underwriters, brokers, and other stakeholders to provide documentation support and resolve inquiries. File Management: Organize and maintain electronic and physical records of policies and related documents. Office Management: Maintain office supply inventory and workspace organization. Experience No prior stop loss or insurance experience required. We are looking for individuals who are organized, detail‑oriented, and interested in learning about the Self‑Funded insurance industry. Experience in administrative work, data entry, healthcare, finance, or customer service is a plus but not required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in insurance, business administration, or a related field. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with policy management systems.
