Overview
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Ironworkers for projects located in the Columbus, OH area . This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $30-31/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Ironworker and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope:
- Connect steel beams, cross members, and metal decking
- Stick welding
- Adhere to all jobsite safety standards and procedures
- Other tasks as assigned
Responsibilities
- Knowledge of steel erection up to 2 stories high
- Experience connecting steel beams, cross members, and metal decking
- Familiarity with standard ironworking tools and equipment
- Experience with stick welding
- Experience using a blow torch for bolt connections and steel work
- Comfortable working at heights and walking steel
- Experience operating or working from lifts
