Job Title: Carpenter (Metal Stud Framing)

Pay: $36.25/hr

Job Description

This short-term role supports a boiler room remodel and addition project by performing interior metal stud framing to prepare spaces for drywall installation. You will use your carpentry expertise and own tools to deliver precise, safe, and efficient framing work within a defined two-week project timeline.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior metal stud framing for walls and partitions in a boiler room remodel and addition project.

• Measure, cut, and assemble metal studs and related materials according to specifications, drawings, and layouts provided.

• Install framing accurately to ensure straight, plumb, and level walls that are ready for drywall installation.

• Use appropriate hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete framing tasks.

• Inspect completed framing work to confirm quality, structural integrity, and adherence to project requirements.

• Collaborate with other trades on site, including drywall crews, to ensure smooth handoff and efficient project progress.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the duration of the project.

• Follow site safety rules and procedures while working in and around an active boiler room construction environment.

Essential Skills

• Proven carpentry experience with a strong focus on metal stud framing.

• Demonstrated ability to frame interior walls using metal studs in a commercial or industrial environment.

• Proficiency in using carpentry hand tools and power tools required for metal stud framing.

• Ability to read and follow basic measurements, layouts, and instructions for framing work.

• Capability to work efficiently within a defined two-week project schedule.

• Reliable transportation to and from the job site.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working on commercial or institutional construction projects.

• Familiarity with coordinating framing work with subsequent trades such as drywall installers.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a site crew.

Work Environment

The role is based on-site in a boiler room remodel and addition project within a larger facility. You will work in an active construction environment that may include confined areas, varying temperatures, and typical construction-site conditions such as noise, dust, and equipment activity. The work involves standing, lifting, and using hand and power tools throughout the day. You are expected to bring and use your own carpentry hand and power tools and to wear appropriate construction attire and personal protective equipment as required by site safety policies.

This is a Contract position based out of Lebanon, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.20 - $36.30/hr.
