We're looking for an Assistant Engineer for Highway or Traffic Engineering to join our growing Transportation Division in Acton, MA . Key Responsibilities Working with a team of professionals in developing designs for public transportation projects. Creating and updating specifications and contract documents for State DOT and Municipal Projects. Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. EIT preferred. 0–4 years of Civil Infrastructure Design and/or construction administration experience. Project experience with State DOT's preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 software such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Bentley OpenRoads Designer preferred. Working knowledge of Synchro and SimTraffic, HCS, SIDRA, or VISSIM a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organization and attention to detail. Ability to effectively participate as part of a project team. Benefits & Perks Competitive salary with a pay range of $34 - $47 per hour commensurate with experience and location.
