The firm provides a comprehensive suite of services, products, and data that enable clients to navigate complex, contentious, and often catastrophic situation Job Description Job Responsibilities: Construct financial analyses, including building complex models Perform technology, industry, and company-specific research Draft client presentations, pitch books, reports, letters, or memoranda Assist with intellectual property landscape analysis and evaluation of patents/patent portfolios for salability Identify and engage contacts at target companies Interact with clients and management teams Qualifications Required Qualifications: Pursuing undergraduate business degree in finance, accounting or bachelor’s degree in economics, engineering, or hard or computer science with applicable work experience Relevant work experience in investment banking, private equity, M&A, corporate finance, and/or intellectual property preferred Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Strong financial modeling skills, including advanced understanding of financial statements and valuation methodologies Excellent oral and written communication skills High degree of professionalism, integrity, and flexibility Selfstarter with strong sense of ownership and urgency Great attitude and client presence Ability to go to the office 2-3 a week Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa. Preferred Qualifications: Relevant work experience in investment banking, private equity, M&A, corporate finance, and/or intellectual property preferred Physical and Mental Job Qualifications Must be able to work in person in ourChicago, IL office on a hybrid schedule.
