Registered Nurse (RN) Surgery

Registered Nurse (RN) – Surgery Job Type: PRN, Varied National Park Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is looking for an experienced RN to provide high-quality patient care in our surgery unit. Responsibilities Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs. Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions. Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient. Perform timely and accurate documentation relating to medical necessity. Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient. Perform timely and accurate QI assessments. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Current state RN license. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required within six months of hire. One year of nursing experience preferred.
