Overview JOB DESCRIPTION — Senior Growth Strategies Manager (Non-Exempt/Salary). Department: Growth Strategies. Employment Status: Full Time. Supervisor: Deputy to the President. Supervises: Growth Strategies Community Outreach Manager; Growth Strategies Community Engagement Manager. Aligns closely with: Growth Strategies Teams, Communication Teams. ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW : Shared Hope International (SHI) is a nonprofit dedicated to ending the crime of human trafficking, operating domestically and internationally to support survivors through prevention, restoration, and justice. DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW : The Growth Strategies Department is a team of fundraising professionals focused on implementing a comprehensive growth plan across fundraising channels. Our culture is goal-focused and results-driven, emphasizing loyalty, responsibility to the cause, and impact on survivors. The department focuses on events, awareness/public speaking, grants/trusts/foundations, corporate giving, social media campaigns, and direct donor engagement. We seek industrious, entrepreneurial individuals to optimize and expand their areas of focus. POSITION OVERVIEW : Reporting to the Deputy to the President, the Senior Growth Strategies Manager leads planning and execution of high-impact local events while building the Growth Strategies team to expand SHI’s reach. The candidate communicates mission accurately and passionately across channels (social media, email, and public speaking) to drive community engagement and donor activation. The role also strengthens operational processes to support sustainable growth. This is a fundraising position first and foremost, with willingness to solicit monetary contributions directly or indirectly. Responsibilities Serve as the primary owner and project manager for annual and semiannual events, overseeing strategy, sponsorships, planning, execution, and post-event evaluation. Drive measurable growth in event revenue by expanding sponsorships, increasing donor participation, and optimizing event fundraising strategies. Ensure event planning considers financial and time constraints; manage multiple timelines and concurrent projects. Actively build and maintain relationships with sponsors, donors, and community partners through in-person engagement, meetings, and event presence. Develop and deliver compelling messaging and storytelling across email campaigns, events, community engagement opportunities, social media, and live speaking opportunities to increase awareness and engagement around the mission. Represent Shared Hope at events and in the community as a confident and engaging public speaker. Mentor and support Growth Strategies team members, helping to prioritize projects, maintain accountability, and strengthen overall performance. Regularly identify new funding opportunities, develop review summaries, and provide actionable strategies for the Deputy to the President. Maintain detailed calendars to track deadlines and monitor progress on Growth Strategies initiatives; provide regular updates to the team. Collaborate with the Deputy to the President to conceptualize and implement strategies for name acquisition, donor growth, and cultivation. Measure and monitor result metrics for Growth Strategies and adjust strategies to achieve desired outcomes. Take a lead or supporting role on other Growth Strategies team efforts as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience and attributes may substitute. Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to influence and engage diverse audiences. Strong computer skills, including design tools (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, Canva) and related software. Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task. Flexible and adaptable leadership style with impact on strategic and tactical fundraising. Self-motivated and capable of working independently and meeting deadlines. Willingness to put in long hours, evenings, and weekends as needed to accomplish the mission. Sensitivity and concern for women and children in crisis; prior knowledge of human trafficking is helpful but not required; subject matter training will be part of onboarding. Salary and Benefits : Hourly rate $70K-$75K based on education and experience, with annual performance-based salary increases. SHI benefits include 401K with employer match up to 3%, health insurance with $100/month employee contribution, ten paid holidays, and generous PTO.
