Requirements High School diploma / General Education Development (GED) and 2 years of specialized formal vocational training or an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in drafting and design technology, Computer-Aided Drafting and Design (CADD), Engineering CAD Technology, or an AAS degree in a related drafting discipline In addition to education requirements, at least one year of hands‑on experience Demonstrated experience with one or more of the following software applications: PTC Creo AutoCAD SolidWorks Demonstrated experience identifying, analyzing, and generating specifications for the development of technical documentation and engineering drawings tailored to the requirements of a task Demonstrated experience interpreting engineering data gathered from field inspections, on‑site inspections, site surveys, engineering notes, sketches, blueprints, and photographs in order to create required technical documentation packages Demonstrated experience using electronic schematics to obtain information as to maximum size, and from manuals giving dimensions of standard parts, determining the arrangement and preparing drawing of printed circuit boards Ensures that all drawings and documents are in proper format, comply with company and industrial standards and specifications, and meet the quality, cost, and productivity objectives of the company and the customer Desired Skills Previous experience providing drafting support to NAWCAD WOLF Clearance Information SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL Travel Requirements Less than five business days per calendar year About Us Scientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions.
