Currently, there are three openings—one for a Resource Special Education Teacher and two for Traditional Classroom Special Education Teachers, allowing you to utilize your unique skills in the setting that best fits your experience and passion. The work schedule is a consistent Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours each week.

Key Qualifications:

• Certified in Special Education, with credentials recognized in Arizona
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Effective classroom management techniques tailored to diverse learners
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Adaptability and compassion to support students across varying needs

Responsibilities:

• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities, ensuring goals are tailored and measurable
• Deliver differentiated instruction in either a resource or traditional classroom setting
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff
• Monitor and document student progress, maintaining compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
• Foster a supportive, engaging classroom environment that empowers students to reach their fullest potential
• Provide direct instruction, intervention, and advocacy for students’ unique learning needs
