Key Responsibilities Lead and manage project safety programs across active heavy civil construction projects Conduct site inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and safety evaluations Partner closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, and field leadership to proactively address safety concerns Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing employee training initiatives Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents while implementing corrective actions and preventative measures Ensure compliance with OSHA, TxDOT, and company safety standards and procedures Maintain safety documentation, reporting, and project compliance records Promote a strong field‑focused safety culture built on accountability and teamwork Assist project teams with pre-task planning, job hazard analysis, and risk mitigation strategies Support multiple project sites throughout South Texas as needed Qualifications 5+ years of construction safety experience within heavy civil infrastructure projects Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices Experience supporting TxDOT, municipal, underground utility, bridge, paving, or earthwork projects preferred Ability to build strong relationships with field operations and project teams Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills CHST, CSP, OSHA 500, or related certifications preferred Ideal Candidate Hands‑on safety professional with a strong field presence and relationship‑driven approach Experience supporting self‑perform heavy civil construction operations Able to balance accountability with collaboration and communication Looking for a long‑term opportunity with a stable, respected contractor that values culture and teamwork #J-18808-Ljbffr
