Description NOW HIRING CARPENTERS – ($20 - $22 PER HOUR) Sher Contracting is looking for skilled and dedicated carpenters to join our team. What We Offer: Competitive pay (based on skill level and experience) Full-time hours (40 hours per week) Overtime opportunities (with prior approval) A professional and supportive work environment Opportunities to work on a variety of projects and develop your skills Job Responsibilities: Install and assemble structures, fixtures, doors, and window coverings Perform framing and general carpentry tasks Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Use a scissor lift to install frames when necessary Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials to precise specifications Repair and maintain existing structures as needed Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors on job sites Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety regulations and company protocols What We’re Looking For: Carpentry Experience: Demonstrated ability to perform skilled carpentry work, including framing, installations, and repairs Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings Proficiency with Tools: Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction materials Attention to Detail: Ability to produce high-quality work with precision and accuracy Problem-Solving Ability: Capable of troubleshooting issues and making necessary adjustments on-site Physical Stamina: Must be able to handle manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Teamwork & Communication: Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with other tradespeople and supervisors Work Ethic & Reliability: Dependable, punctual, and committed to completing projects on time Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (must arrive 15 minutes prior to shift) Pay: $20 - $27 per hour, based on experience and skill level Sher Contracting is committed to providing an inclusive and supportive work environment.
