Will possess knowledgeable resource to staff, the ability to lead and communicate appropriately with physicians, other department managers, and staff are essential.Under general direction, and in accordance with the State of California Nurse Practice Act, and the goals, objectives and strategic plan of the organization, to provide leadership, plan, organize, and supervise personnel; to manage, report on, and provide resources for the Labor and Delivery unit; and to perform related work as required.Providence Saint John's Health Center has been recognized as a Magnet® hospital in 2025 —a prestigious designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), which recognizes organizations that provide the highest-quality care.
