Dental Assistant

Dental Assistant Location: Anchorage, AK What You\'ll Do Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and treatment rooms in accordance with infection control standards. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix, Open Dental, or Eaglesoft. Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-operative care. Assist with appointment coordination and follow-up scheduling. Monitor and maintain inventory of dental supplies. Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and all infection control and safety protocols. Support the clinical team with additional duties as needed to ensure efficient daily operations. What We\'re Looking For Previous Dental Assistant experience is preferred but not required. Knowledge of dental terminology and clinical procedures. Experience with Dentrix, Open Dental, or Eaglesoft is a plus. Familiarity with 3D scanners is preferred. Understanding of infection control and sterilization procedures. CPR/BLS certification is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude, dependability, and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care. Compensation Compensation $22.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
