Lab Tech

Job Highlights

• Performs routine and non-routine analyses for in-process samples and final products
• Performs basic analytical equipment calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting
• Ensures effective operation of the analytical equipment
• Assures the quality of the analytical data provided to other plant personnel
• Implements and verifies the performance of new equipment
• Maintains high standards related to safety, data integrity, documentation, recordkeeping and housekeeping
• Trains other lab techs and operators on applicable analytical methods

Experience / Skills

• Knowledge of common analytical techniques and instruments (pH, water, specific gravity, purity, color)
• Demonstrated laboratory experience
• 20 hours of college chemistry or relevant analytical/lab work experience
• Basic Microsoft Word and Excel abilities
• Full-time 12 hour rotating shift position
• Overtime required as needed
• Willingness to learn other roles within the organization (operations, logistics, staff) to provide backup support as needed

• Compensation We offer competitive compensation packages, inclusive of a global bonus program. The minimum established pay rate for this position is $30.15 per hour. Please note, the actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level.
