Accounting Clerk

Job Summary Swissport Fueling Inc, located at the PHX Airport has an exciting administrative opportunity available for immediate employment. The Into plane Fuel Accounting Clerk will work closely with the team to ensure accurate fuel accounting for the airline’s customers and fuel suppliers. Responsibilities include processing into plane issues, meter reconciliation, and inventories related to fuel accounting operations. The employee must follow A4A Spec 123 accounting standards for fuel accounting. The expected pay rate is $25 per hour. Your Activities Enter accurate fuel accounting transactions in Varec Fuels Manager. Reconcile meter and inventory variances to ensure no missing or inaccurate transactions. Communicate with customers, fuel facility operators, and other departments to ensure accurate fuel accounting and billing. Order uniforms, office, and janitorial supplies. Perform employee badging as required by local airport procedures. Set up and maintain accounting files, records, and tracking spreadsheets as needed. Process accounts‑payable invoices. Assist with end‑of‑month closeout and reporting. Perform other duties as requested by the manager or supervisor. Your Profile Minimum of two years of administrative and/or accounting experience is preferred. Minimum of one year of experience with fuel accounting is preferred, but not required. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required. Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screening. Must pass an FBI background check per airport requirements. Must have above‑average math skills. Must be able to multitask. Must be available for weekend work. Must be able to adjust schedule to be available for month‑end closeouts (usually performed on the first business day of each month). Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must exhibit professional phone and email etiquette. Must be self‑driven and highly motivated. Must be organized.
