As a Security Officer Badge Screening in New Stanton, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help manage access points, screen visitors and personnel, verify credentials, and report security-related concerns. Your visible presence and professional communication will help deter incidents while delivering a welcoming experience. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology and media location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Screen individuals, packages, deliveries, and authorized property entering the location in accordance with established access-control and screening procedures.
• Verify identification and access credentials, direct visitors to appropriate check-in processes, and maintain accurate visitor and delivery records.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated screening areas, entry points, and the surrounding business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
