With 15,432 square feet of meeting space, our hotel is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and memorable experiences for guests and employees alike. The property offers a dynamic and supportive environment for hospitality professionals across a range of departments, including guest services, food and beverage, housekeeping, spa and wellness, sales and marketing, and more. What you will have an opportunity to do We are looking for individuals with great attention to detail to join our kitchen team as a Steward. This role is integral to the “Heart of the House,” providing essential support for our culinary and food service teams so they can deliver outstanding service to guests. Your Role Interact with team members and create a positive, upbeat work environment. Maintain a daily sanitation log for both the dish machine and manual pot‑wash sink. Ensure work areas are left ready and communicate items that are not ready. Lead green initiatives by properly recycling all cardboard using the compactor. Be energy conscious: turn off lights when not in use, keep water faucets turned off, and report leaks to a supervisor. Be a key safety player by paying close attention to high‑traffic areas to avoid accidents, slips, trips, and falls. Use proper dish and glass racks to prevent chips, cracks, or breakage of small wares. Use time wisely and proactively clean and sanitize equipment in slow times to maintain a clean and organized environment. Learn different tasks within the kitchen and develop new skills. Assist in other areas when business levels dictate. Provide a genuine level of engagement with guests and fellow crew members with a sincere smile. What we are looking for Some housekeeping experience desirable. An engaging and pleasant personality who likes to meet new people. Strong time‑management skills to accomplish tasks efficiently. Ability to work on feet for an extended period. Effective communication skills. Physical ability to lift, carry, or position loads of up to 25 lbs and move carts weighing up to 100 lbs in tight spaces. Proficiency in using equipment such as spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads, and dusters. Compensation $14.00 – $18.00 per hour.
