Welder II - 1st Shift
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00/hour
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Overtime: Optional Fridays, 5:00 AM - 10:00 AM
Are you an experienced welder looking for a stable, full-time opportunity with a company that values craftsmanship, safety, and continuous improvement? We are seeking a skilled Welder II to join our production team. In this role, you'll work on a variety of fabrication and welding projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
What You'll Do

• Perform MIG or TIG welding and fabrication work to AWS 3G/4G standards, including modifications, repairs, and production welding from blueprints and drawings.
• Fabricate components from raw materials and use hand, electric, cordless, and pneumatic tools to complete assemblies and rework projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, specifications, and detailed work instructions to ensure quality workmanship.
• Conduct self-inspections, maintain product quality standards, and troubleshoot complex welding and fabrication issues with minimal supervision.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, 5S practices, and lean manufacturing efforts to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, materials, and other departments to resolve production challenges and meet operational goals.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment while consistently meeting production and attendance expectations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to pass AWS certification testing (D1.1, D1.2, D1.3, D1.6, and D9.1) with practice time provided prior to testing.
• Proficient in either MIG or TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Strong understanding of AWS welding symbols and blueprint reading.
• Experience setting up, adjusting, and maintaining welding equipment.
• Basic computer skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Positive attitude, self-motivated work ethic, and excellent attendance history.
• Willingness to rotate between welding areas, wear PPE including respirators, and work overtime as needed.

Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Ephrata, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $58240.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
401k: 100% match of first 3%, and 50% match for the next 2%- 4 Tiers: Employee only, Employee and Spouse, Employee and Children, Family. 3 plan options: PPO, HDHP Gold, HDHP Silver- Dental and Vision Plans- Basic life insurance coverage of $30,000- PTO: 60 hours in first 2 years, then 100 hours year 2-5, 140 hours year 5-10, 180 hours at 10 years and after
