Physical Therapist Assistant

Encompass Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for our Vero Beach, FL inpatient rehabilitation hospital. In this role, you’ll provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, carrying out treatment plans to help patients regain mobility, function, and independence after stroke, brain or spinal cord injury, orthopedic surgery, and other serious conditions. Responsibilities include therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, patient and family education, accurate documentation, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
