Rehab Occupational Therapy Assistant

Encompass Health seeks a Rehab Occupational Therapy Assistant to support patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Working under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, you’ll carry out treatment plans to improve patients’ mobility, self-care, and daily living skills after stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, and complex orthopedic conditions. Responsibilities include leading therapeutic activities, training patients in adaptive techniques and equipment, documenting progress, and collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary rehab team.
