Neuromusculoskeletal Med/Surg RN - Level II Shift Details

• Shift: 3x12-hour shifts
• Schedule: Days, Evenings, or Nights
• Weekends, Holidays, On-Call, Callback, and Charge responsibilities per unit needs
• 36 or 48 hours available

Position Overview

• Through clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, and research and evidence-based practice, the Level II Registered Nurse, under the direction of the Nurse Manager, is accountable for provision of competent care based on established standards
• The Level II Registered Nurse assumes an expanded role, which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities

Requirements

• Minimum two (2) years of Med/Surg experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Active NYS RN License (New York licenses only accepted at this time)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• NIHSS certification required
