Job Summary PreSales Solutions Consultant, SAP Modernization

- Own the end-to-end solution and commercial structure of SAP modernization deals, working closely with Account Executives to win new business.
- Lead discovery sessions with prospects to understand requirements, constraints, and decision criteria, ensuring smartShift is the right fit for their needs.
- Scope, price, and shape proposals using smartShift's standards, ensuring solutions are commercially viable and repeatable.
- Deliver persuasive presentations and live demonstrations to technical and executive audiences, including RFP orals.
- Collaborate with Account Executives throughout qualification, proposal development, negotiation, and seamless handoff to delivery teams.
- Contribute to RFP responses and coordinate with legal and delivery for MSAs, SOWs, and orders.
- Act as a feedback loop to the product team, identifying competitive pressures and unmet customer needs to influence development.
- Represent smartShift externally at industry conferences and through writing/speaking engagements, as desired.
- Stay informed on AI trends in SAP modernization and provide thought leadership on its impact.
- Remote role based in the US, with occasional travel for customer and internal meetings.
- No individual quota; compensation tied to company bookings and margin performance.
