Staff Accountant

United Methodist Childrens Home Of North Georgia Conference

This position supports program activities through assisting with the financial recording and reporting requirements of Wellroot and its affiliates. This position will be responsible for the billing, reporting, and accounting for grants and contracts. The Staff Accountant will assist the Controller and other staff as needed to complete duties as assigned by the Controller.Essential Functions:Manage county A/R process and liaise with program managersBegin DFCS billing to mailed by the 5th day of monthComplete Monthly Caminos 15th of each monthComplete Quarter FFR for ControllerUpdate monthly recurring journal entriesBegin preparing investment journal entriesEnter bank transfersComplete bank reconciliations and post final cashComplete balance sheet reconciliationEnter other month-end entries (as required)Review and approve A/P for processing in MicroixAssist Controller with fiscal auditOther duties as assigned by the ControllerEducation: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university2-4 years of general ledger accounting experience 2 years of transactional accounting experience, preferably using Microsoft Dynamics GP #J-18808-Ljbffr United Methodist Childrens Home Of North Georgia Conference
