Job Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter and process prescription and patient information into pharmacy systems
• Maintain and update patient records while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards
• Serve as a primary point of contact for patients and healthcare providers, delivering exceptional service
• Respond to inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism, empathy, and urgency
• Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate and fulfill customer service requests
• Monitor data accuracy and support quality improvement initiatives
• Act as a resource and mentor for team members, sharing knowledge and best practices
• Support ongoing projects and help improve processes and patient experience

What You Bring:

• Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician License (required)
• 24 years of experience in pharmacy, healthcare, or customer support
• Proven experience with prescription processing and data entry systems
• Strong customer service skills (call center experience needed)
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have:

• PTCB certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Retail pharmacy experience
• Advanced data entry skills with high accuracy
• Familiarity with hybrid or remote work environments

Work Environment:

This role combines in-office collaboration with the flexibility of remote work. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams in a highly interactive, fast-paced setting, using pharmacy systems and technology to support patients and providers.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Forest, IL.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
