Job Description

Auto Mechanic Job Description:

DiagnoseIssues :Identifymechanicalproblemsusingdiagnosticequipmentandvisualinspections.

PerformRepairs :Repairorreplacefaultypartsandsystems,includingengines,transmissions,andelectricalsystems.
RoutineMaintenance :Conductregularmaintenancetaskssuchasoilchanges,tirerotations,andbrakeservicestoensurevehiclesafetyandperformance.
CustomerInteraction :Communicatewithvehicleownerstodiscussconcernsandproviderecommendationsforrepairsandmaintenance.
SafetyProtocols :Followsafetyprotocolsandmaintainacleanandorganizedworkarea.

RequiredSkillsandQualifications

TechnicalKnowledge :Strongunderstandingofautomotivesystemsandmechanics,includingknowledgeofcomputerizedsystemsandautomotiveelectronics.
Problem SolvingSkills :Abilitytoanalyzeissuesanddevelopeffectivesolutions.
ManualDexterity :Proficiencyinusinghandtoolsandpowertoolssafelyandeffectively.
Certifications : Must be ASE certified.
Experience :Previousexperienceinautomotiverepairorarelatedfieldisoftenrequired,withsomepositionsrequiringspecifictrainingorvocationaleducation.
