Diesel Mechanic

*Job description* *About Us:* We are a growing trucking company operating a fleet of 50 trucks and 150 trailers. Our team is dedicated to safety, reliability, and keeping our equipment in top condition. We are looking for a skilled and dependable Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team and help keep our fleet running at peak performance. *Key Responsibilities:* * Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections on diesel trucks and trailers. * Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and other mechanical components. * Service trailers including suspension, tires, brakes, and lighting systems. * Conduct DOT inspections and ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards. * Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and completed work. * Respond to roadside breakdowns when necessary. * Keep the shop area clean, organized, and safe. We are looking for a full-time fleet Diesel Mechanic to work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, in our shop.
