Junior Accountant

Junior Accountant We are a growing accounting firm in Akron looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $1300 per month. Responsibilities Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports Reconciling bank and credit card statements Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Conducting basic audits of financial records Assisting with tax preparation and filing Communicating with clients regarding their financial information Maintaining accurate and organized financial records Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (or currently enrolled in an accredited program) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and efficiently as well as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks (or other accounting software) Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Preferred Previous internship or work experience in an accounting role Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Familiarity with tax laws and regulations We offer a positive work environment, opportunities for growth, and competitive benefits including free visa sponsorship, airfare, health insurance, and more.
